Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Business Developer to strengthen our depot sales in Stoke-on-Trent. You will build relationships with trade customers, generate leads and convert conversations into opportunities and sales, working with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives.

You’ll be a confident communicator who thrives on targets, enjoys face-to-face and phone interactions, and is motivated by results within a busy depot team.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales, account management or a customer focused role is helpful.
• Commercially minded with a focus on driving sales and adding value.
• Strong communication skills for phone and face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
