Trade counter & Logistics Manager – Location: Derry

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a manager to join our Panel Supplies team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, and to the wider senior management team. You will gain experience across all sectors of the business, from the fast-paced manufacturing of worktops, shower panels and bonded boards to the retail side of the business supplying sheet materials, worktops and many other building products for the kitchen industry. Giving you opportunity for personal and professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day to day running of a Warehouse, showroom and transport team within a retail/ manufacture and distribution business.
  • Manage, develop and support an existing team in the Warehouse and showroom.
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Maintain stock levels with the assistance of the warehouse team.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintain stock control procedures.
  • Process and fulfil customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Track and report order status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the Panel Team to meet with ISO and company standards.
  • Oversee the receiving process, inspecting goods for quality and accuracy.
  • Assist in all other managerial areas and decisions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
The Candidate
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a trade counter/sales order processing role or a related field.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, demonstrating a positive and professional interaction with customers.
  • Showcase excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate multitasking, prioritization, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Have familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling processes
