We are currently on the search for a Town Planning Co-Ordinator to join us on a Full Time Basis.

Responsibilities

As the Town Planning Co-Ordinator, you\'ll provide full administrative services to the Portfolio team, who are responsible for the delivery of new advertising sites on bus shelter contracts, ensuring that all Company procedures are adhered to, implemented accurately and in a timely manner, supporting key business objectives to develop our nationwide digital advertising presence.

  • Prepare and submit applications for planning permission and advertisement consent ensuring that they are submitted in a timely manner, accurately and provide all information required to enable consent to be achieved, coordinating with other internal departments where needed
  • Liaising local authority planning departments, addressing enquiries, requests for additional information with external contractors obtaining quotes, dealing with queries and coordinating activities & responses with other internal and external customers
  • Maintain and update the Department\'s planning records
  • Liaise with external planning consultants when required to do so
  • Ad hoc project support for Planning Managers as and when required
  • Supporting with the provision of reporting & analysis on planning activity / performance as required

As part of this role, we\'ll also be offering the opportunity to develop your career through apprenticeship Level 4 Town planning. This will develop skill sets, understanding and a career pathway in planning.

You\'ll need to be focused on supporting the success of the Portfolio team, ensuring that from a planning administration perspective everything is running smoothly. It\'s a vitally important position within the team and you\'ll have a positive nature, allowing you to build trusting professional relationships quickly.

  • 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work from home (This typically looks like 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH)
