Job Title: TICA Insulators - Portsmouth Naval Base
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base
Rate: £24.00 per hour (all hours worked) + £40.00 per day lodge allowance
Contract: Ongoing, long-term opportunity
Hours: 10-12 hours per day, Monday-Friday (weekend work may be available)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

LRL are currently recruiting for 4x TICA Insulators to join a major project at Portsmouth Naval Base. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile marine and defence contract, with duties including the installation of thermal insulation systems across a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply thermal insulation systems to pipework, tankers, and associated equipment.
• Install insulating components using adhesives, clips, and wire.
• Carry out all duties in line with project specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain a high level of workmanship across all tasks.

Experience & Requirements

• Valid TICA CSCS Card (Blue or Gold).
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Thermal Insulation.
• Previous experience on similar industrial or marine projects.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-security environment.
• 2x relevant project-specific references.
