We have an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Technical Instructor to join our team within the directorate of Mental Health.
This is a part time role of 22.5 hours which can be worked flexibly except for Fridays when cover will be required.
The role of the Therapy Technical Instructor is to support qualified Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff to provide skilled assessment and treatment of individuals admitted to our older persons mental health wards. The role will be working with older adults with functional mental health difficulties, who may also have complex physical health needs. Excellent communication skills are needed, as is the determination and commitment to build positive therapeutic relationships which facilitate engagement and build an understanding of individuals needs in order to support them to engage positively.
