A prominent healthcare trust in Greater London seeks a self-motivated Therapy Support Worker. The role involves providing clinical and administrative assistance to the therapy team, including supporting treatment plans and engaging with patients in various settings. Candidates should have previous health or social care experience, strong communication skills, and relevant qualifications such as GCSEs in Maths and English. The position is a 9-month fixed-term contract with professional development opportunities.
Although this position is a 9 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. This means the contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 9 months.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our well established and highly respected team.
As a Therapy Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to the team of qualified occupational therapists and physiotherapists. This will include carrying out activities of daily living, exercise programmes and issuing relevant equipment, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. You will be able to refer to the qualified therapists for guidance and supervision where necessary.
