Qualifications

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Technician to play a key role in a busy and ambitious performing arts department, featuring two theatres, a drama studio and an array of multi-use spaces.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and support this busy area of school life, providing assistance with setting up equipment, and ensuring AV, lighting, sound and power requirements are met for all events, productions and school activities.

To be considered for this role you will need knowledge of lighting and sound control within a theatre setting, as well as knowledge of video and sound editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Logic Pro).

You will also need to be confident in manual handling/heavy lifting of theatre equipment and climbing ladders.

This is a part-time role, working 4 days per week, during term-time only, plus 8 non-term days, starting in February 2026.
