We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Tower Hamlets that’s looking for a passionate Textiles teacher to join their Design & Technology department. This is a school that values creativity, practical learning, and giving students the confidence to express themselves, needle and thread in hand.

You’ll be teaching Textiles across KS3 and KS4, delivering hands‑on, engaging lessons that inspire students of all abilities. The department is collaborative, well‑resourced, and led by people who genuinely support their staff.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Teaching Textiles within the DT curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering creative, practical lessons
  • Supporting students to develop technical skills and creative confidence
  • Contributing to a positive, well‑organised DT department
  • Getting involved in enrichment or extracurricular projects, if you’d like

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
