Job summary

A reputable recruitment company is seeking an Electronic Test Technician in Poole. The successful candidate will test and inspect audio products, diagnose and repair faults, and support prototype development. A Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronics, knowledge of electronic testing equipment, and experience with ESD procedures are essential. Electronic Test Technician

£40-45k+ bonus (5-10%)

Poole

What you’ll do:

Test and inspect audio products to ensure they meet your exacting standards.

Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, components, and PCB’s.

Support prototype development and routine maintenance of equipment.

Develop, maintain, and improve test procedures and calibration schedules.

What we’re looking for:

Level 3 Electrical / Electronics qualification or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of electronic testing equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.).

Experience working with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It would be great if you also have:

Knowledge of acoustic testing procedures.

Experience with IPC 610 / 620 standards.

Strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and ability to meet deadlines.
