Salary: £28,000+ DOE

Are you an experienced Test Technician ready for your next challenge? Due to continued growth and a strong order book, our client is expanding their team and seeking a skilled Test Technician to support their busy production facility in Hemel Hempstead.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Test Technician

• Carrying out daily testing of components, sub-assemblies, and finished instruments in line with customer specifications
• Using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and diagnostic rigs to ensure electronic products meet quality standards
• Recording and documenting test results accurately for audit and traceability purposes
• Identifying and reporting faulty boards, and assisting in fault diagnosis and repair
• Maintaining and repairing test equipment as required
• Suggesting improvements to existing test and production processes

What We’re Looking For as a Test Technician

• Proven experience using ATE for component and board-level testing
• Confident with electronic test and diagnostic rigs
• Ability to follow verbal and written test instructions accurately
• Ideally trained to IPC610 standards (training can be provided if not certified)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
