Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a test, QA or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment such as SMT, aerospace, automotive, or electronics.
  • Familiarity with electrical, mechanical or software testing procedures.

The Role

We operate from a modern clean environment to support customers in the commercial space defence transport audio motorsport and instrumentation are opening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Test Technician to perform product testing quality assurance and inspection procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring test equipment ensuring products meet quality and performance standards and accurately documenting results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test procedures for PCBAs and electronic assemblies to ensure functionality performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct functional environmental or performance tests on products / components
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware failures at component and board level using tools such as oscilloscopes multimeters logic analyzers and signal generators.
  • Record test data and report deviations or non-conformities
  • Interpret test procedures and adjust processes as needed to meet quality standards
  • Ability to read manufacturing technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintain test equipment and perform routine calibrations or troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with quality teams to resolve test issues (Internal and external customers)
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures or field returns
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
About you
  • Essential 3 5 years of experience in a test QA or manufacturing environment
  • Essential Experience in a similar manufacturing environment SMT aerospace automotive or electronics
  • Familiarity with electrical mechanical or software testing procedures
  • Strong root cause and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with automated test systems (e.g. ICT functional testers) (Preferable)
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards or Six Sigma principles
