For this role you will be responsible for all aspects of testing our product and service both internally and in collaboration with supply chain partners. Provide guidance to colleagues on all aspects of test planning product quality and test execution. Establish and deliver Test Plans from supplied specifications
Ensures that any risks associated with the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients / users and colleagues.
Create, modify, and execute complex test scripts. Monitor progress, produce reports on system quality and document test failures and successes compared with pre‑defined criteria. Use normal operating facilities, diagnostic tools, technical manuals, test scripts, and system documentation to identify, diagnose, and report on system errors.
Create, interpret, and execute test scripts using agreed methods and standards.
Conduct early, mid, and end lifecycle validation and verification for product updates and service change requests for both internal and supply chain teams.
Monitor test progress and document test results compared with pre‑defined criteria in accordance with agreed standards.
Use industry‑standard tools to identify, diagnose, and report on system errors.
Review test results and modify manual and automated tests where necessary.
Produce reports on system quality and metrics on test cases and code coverage.
Add objective value to and improvements upon existing supply chain test cases.
Analyze backlog item requirements to design and create reusable test scripts and procedures (with expected results) to test new and amended software to be executed by self and other team members.
Ensure that any risks associated with the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients / users and colleagues.
Constant considerations for continual improvement and reducing process waste.
Able to demonstrate completed test results to the Scrum Master and Product Owner to ensure the Definition of Done is met for each backlog item.
Able to sign‑off bugs on behalf of the Product Owner once test results meet success criteria.
Be responsible for functional integration and systems testing of software developed by off‑shore supply chain partners as well as validation testing of changes developed by our in‑house teams.
Develop, execute, and report on complex test plans from requirement specifications and refined product backlog items.
