A leading grocery retailer in Leeds is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations and support team members in delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be customer-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with available hours is encouraged. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of £14.76 per hour.
The availability window describes the periods of time in the week you are expected to be available to work. Availability is as follows: Sun 14:00–23:00; Mon 14:00–23:00; Wed 14:00–23:00; Sat 07:00–18:00. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times advertised, we’d still love to hear from you. Our Shift Leader pay starts from £14.76 per hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
