Howdens Joinery seeks a Territory Sales Representative to grow our local trade customer base in Leigh on Sea and surrounding areas. This field-based role rewards proactive networking, new business wins, and building long-term partnerships with depot teams.

You will own your territory, manage accounts, and collaborate with depots to drive spend while delivering exceptional service. A valid UK driving licence is required and a passion for joinery and hardware products helps you win customers loyal.

Formación

• Proven track record of winning new business in a target-driven sales role.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated and resilient with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow and nurture the account base across your territory, supporting depot performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and explain its value.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing account holders.
• Own customer enquiries from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute insights and performance updates in team meetings.
• Keep data accurate and visible across activity and pipeline.
• Work safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.
