Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive growth across a local trade customer base. This field-based role offers autonomy to manage your workload while partnering with depot colleagues to deliver sustainable revenue through strong relationships and proactive account development.

You will win new business, nurture existing accounts, and work closely with depots to expand spend. A full UK driving licence is required.

• Track record of winning new business or sales targets.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated and resilient with drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into accounts.
• Grow account base across territory and support each depot’s performance.
• Introduce new customers to Howdens model and clearly articulate benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to build spend and drive trading frequency.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing account holders.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
