Job summary

Howdens Joinery Limited is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow our local trade customer base across your designated territory. This field-based role focuses on winning new business, building strong relationships with depots and customers, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

You will work closely with depot teams, manage your pipeline, and drive sustainable growth through proactive selling, excellent service, and in-depth product knowledge in joinery and hardware.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Confidently engaging with trade customers from first contact.
• Self-motivated with resilience to succeed in a target-driven environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and communicate product knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a busy field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow and nurture the trade account base across your territory in collaboration with each depot.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and articulate its value for trade customers.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing account holders and manage enquiries end-to-end.
