Position: Temporary Dealership Accountant

Description

We are seeking a Temporary Dealership Accountant responsible for producing monthly management accounts, key figures, and statistics. The role involves contributing to the dealership's effective operation and development by providing advice and information on all financial matters. Responsibilities include submitting manufacturer composites, reconciling all balance sheets monthly, and communicating any site-based discrepancies or issues to the Financial Controller. The role requires strict adherence to financial controls and policies, preparing files for internal and external audits as needed.

Additional duties include reconciling and attending vehicle and parts stock-takes, providing input into the annual budget and re-forecasts, as well as weekly forecasting and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced management accounting position, working to tight deadlines, with strong influencing and communication skills. You will work closely with the General Manager and deputize in their absence.

Note: ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
