Job summary

A UK-based system integrator is recruiting an Instrumentation & Controls Technician. This role focuses on the water industry, combining hands-on site work with technical tasks. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining telemetry equipment, as well as diagnosing RTU issues and conducting site surveys. Applicants should have practical experience with ICA and strong problem-solving skills. Regular travel to Ireland is expected.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with ICA, telemetry, or control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel, including regular visits to Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telemetry equipment.
• Diagnose, investigate, and remediate RTU issues.
• Carry out site surveys for ICA and telemetry systems.
• Produce clear post-remediation reports for RTU works.
• Conduct commissioning and site acceptance testing of RTUs.
• Prepare and follow safety-related documentation.
