A healthcare organization in Gorleston-on-Sea is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to support the telecom systems. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess good organizational skills and be able to work independently. A minimum of four GCSEs, including Mathematics and English, or relevant experience is required, along with a full UK Driving Licence.

Performs work including activities that may be demanding and/or non‑routine. Responsible for carrying out installation, commissioning, servicing, repair and programming of equipment of a specialised nature e.g. telephony, VOIP, call centre, intercoms and paging Systems.
Undertaking maintenance, repairs, minor improvement and capital work across the Trust as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
The post holder will provide administration and support for Telecoms Infrastructure equipment and systems and will assist users by fulfilling requests and resolving incidents, either over the telephone, in writing or face‑to‑face.
We are seeking a Telecommunications Technician to work in our Estates Department who will carry out all tasks relating to the hospitals telecom system.
Tasks will include all maintenance and repair aspects associated with the telecom system including but not limited to replacing handsets, moving telephone line, installation of new lines and fault diagnoses and repair of faults on the system
Ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures. Taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.
You must possess good organisational and team working skills and have the ability to work unsupervised.
