Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within North Kent College's Motor Vehicle curriculum area as a Motor Vehicle Technician. Our Educational Motor Vehicle Workshop is a dynamic, hands-on training environment where theory meets real-world application. Designed to prepare the next generation of automotive professionals, this facility equips students with the latest tools, diagnostic technology, and industry-standard practices to master everything from traditional engine systems to cutting-edge vehicle platforms. Our Technicians work with the Lecturers and other team members in the curriculum area to provide technical support for the delivery of the Motor Vehicle courses and actively participate in enhancing the student experience. In addition to helping shape and motivate our learners throughout their course, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learning materials in readiness for practical sessions and in maintaining the workshops. This role would be ideal for someone looking to come off the tools but still wanting to be a part of the motor trade and helping to train the next generation.
