A major water and wastewater company in Witney is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to ensure operational efficiency at its Sewage Treatment Works. The successful candidate will undertake maintenance and repair tasks on various mechanical and electrical equipment. This role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000 annually with additional earnings from standby and overtime opportunities. We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team in our Waste Water Division to be based out of our Witney Sewage Treatment Works OX28 5JH.
As a successful candidate, you will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe efficient timely and effective manner with minimum supervision allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefits of our customers.
Base Location: Witney - OX28 5JH
Working Pattern 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus, standby & overtime opportunities increase earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000.
All PPE and tools are provided.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering with an up skill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
