Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech managed IT services organisation. The role covers technical support, infrastructure maintenance and hands-on work at client sites.

You will act as a technical contact for customers, diagnose faults, and manage service requests through our Service Desk platform, while keeping customers informed and escalating as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a relevant IT role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical contact for customers and provide IT solutions.
• Diagnose faults on customer premises and perform repairs and maintenance.
• Manage support cases and service requests via the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed and escalate major incidents as needed.
• Install, configure, test, and repair hardware and software.
• Maintain up-to-date technical records and documentation.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, on-site or remote.
• Coordinate with external partners when required.
