Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join a high-tech organisation delivering managed IT services to established businesses. The role covers technical support, infrastructure, system maintenance and hands-on work at client locations.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, install and configure hardware and software, and maintain technical records. The position requires strong customer service skills and independent problem-solving within a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant IT role.
• Mandatory: Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Mandatory: Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure: routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Azure administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide IT solutions.
• Attend customer premises to diagnose faults, complete repairs and perform maintenance.
• Manage support cases and service requests via the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed throughout the support process according to SLAs.
• Escalate significant incidents requiring management intervention.
• Monitor customer environments to meet business requirements.
