Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join a growing technical team. You will provide first-line support, visit client sites, and manage incidents across multiple environments while maintaining strong client communication.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT support, expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and a solid networking/Windows Server background. On-site and remote work across client locations is common.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT support position.
• Experience implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance measures.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Intune, RMM and VoIP/telephony system experience.
• Networking knowledge covering VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches and routers.
• Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022).
• Azure deployment and administration experience.
• Familiarity with Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support and act as the primary contact for customers.
• Visit customer locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues when required.
• Log, manage and update incidents via the service management platform.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding ticket progress.
• Escalate critical issues to senior leadership where appropriate.
• Prioritise and manage daily workload effectively.
• Monitor customer environments and ensure optimal system performance.
• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software solutions.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and maintain service records.
• Support incidents remotely and on-site.
