Job summary

Emplyfy in Watford, GB, seeks an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support, infrastructure maintenance and client-site work. You will own incidents, manage service requests, and ensure service levels are met across multiple technologies.

The role requires 5+ years in IT, Cyber Essentials/GDPR implementation, and strong MS 365, Intune, Azure and networking skills. Competitive salary and 40 days of holiday are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' IT experience in a relevant role.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR implementation knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services.
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.
• Strong networking skills including routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
• Ability to coordinate with external partners and service providers.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016–2022 and Group Policy.
• Azure administration and implementation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for customers and provide IT solutions.
• Attend customer premises for diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
• Manage support cases via the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed per service levels and escalate incidents.
• Review daily priorities and manage workload to action deadlines.
• Monitor customer environments to meet business requirements.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware/software.
• Maintain up-to-date technical records and tickets.
• Handle urgent incidents on-site or remotely.
