Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer in Ascot to join a high-tech IT services provider. The role covers technical support, infrastructure, system maintenance and hands-on work at client premises, with ownership of issues from diagnosis to resolution.

You will work across Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and network infrastructure, ensuring security standards (Cyber Essentials, GDPR) are implemented and documented.

Qualifications

5+ years in a relevant IT role.
Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards, including implementation/configuration.
Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Experience with Intune, Remote Monitoring and Management platforms and telecom systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective IT solutions.
Attend customer premises for fault diagnosis, repairs and scheduled maintenance.
Manage support cases and service requests using the Service Desk platform.
Keep customers informed throughout the support process and adhere to SLAs.
Escalate significant incidents requiring Management intervention.
Monitor the condition and performance of client environments and ensure business requirements are met.
Carry out installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and repair of hardware and software.
