Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer for High Wycombe to deliver hands-on IT support across customer environments. You will work both remotely and on customer premises, resolve incidents, manage tickets and maintain systems to meet SLAs.

The role requires Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Microsoft 365 (including Exchange/SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive), Intune, Azure, Windows Server and networking expertise. 40 days holiday and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT engineering or similar role.
• Mandatory knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Mandatory knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, RMM tools and telephone platforms.
• Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs).
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policy.
• Experience with Azure administration and implementation.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS.
• Ability to build, image and configure customer environments.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted contact for support matters.
• Visit customer sites to investigate and resolve issues, perform installations and planned maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk system.
• Provide regular updates and ensure tickets progress within SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to Management when appropriate.
• Organise daily workloads and handle urgent tasks effectively.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware, software and related systems.
