Job summary

Downtown Recruitment is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a technology business in Thame, Oxfordshire. You will provide first-line support for a range of software solutions and develop technical expertise through ongoing training.

The role involves handling support cases, communicating with customers, and delivering product demonstrations. The position offers full training, salary dependent on experience, 25 days holiday, pension contributions, death in service cover and a cycle to

Qualifications

IT related education or training.
Strong interest in software and IT systems.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Confidence presenting solutions to customers.
Experience with CAD software or sectors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide first line telephone and remote technical support to customers.
Log, manage and update support cases accurately within the CRM system.
Investigate technical issues and escalate as needed.
Keep customers informed with clear and professional communication throughout the support process.
Work closely with technical and sales colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
Create technical content such as blogs and videos on common support topics.
Deliver software demonstrations and assist with technical presales activities when needed.
Maintain relevant software certifications and technical knowledge.
