Job summary

Precision People is assisting in sourcing a Technical Support Engineer based in the UK. The role is office-based in NE36 with day shifts, providing remote support for specialist machinery and diagnosing faults across software, networking, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong IT/network background, experience with remote desktop tools, and is comfortable traveling for product training. You will work within a fast-paced team and use Salesforce CRM to manage cases.

Qualifications

Experience delivering remote IT/network/engineering support.
Familiar with handling issues across software, networking, and hardware.
Willing to travel for product training and meetings.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day remote support to customers via phone, email and remote access.
Diagnose faults in electrical and system components of machinery.
Guiding customers through troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
Raise quotes for parts, servicing and repairs using internal systems.
Collaborate with field engineers when needed and use Salesforce CRM.
Install and configure software for customers and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
