Job Summary
As we move into an exciting phase in our programme, we have an opportunity for a Business Operations Technical Secretary/Author to join AWE. You will provide support to the Liabilities function, which is tasked with maintaining our site infrastructure and utilities, as well as the decommissioning and demolition of old buildings to make way for new modern facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- The end-to-end coordination of leadership, regulatory, customer and/or technical meetings, incl. notification, meeting planning, meeting packs, note taking, data gathering, data analysis, and action tracking.
- Structural review and formatting of senior board papers and communications.
- Consulting with key stakeholders and meeting contributors to ensure meeting packs and outputs are well informed and accurate.
Qualifications
- A Level or equivalent qualification or comparable on-the-job experience in a comparable field.
- Critical thinking/problem‑solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management approach.
- Exceptional organisational skills and experience of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders at any one time.
- Excellent active listening skills and the ability to translate information and/or requests into action plans.
- An ability to structure clear and concise leadership‑level reports, papers, and information packs.
- Good analytical skills and ability to interpret data sets to ensure appropriate action/response is taken.
- Good document and configuration control.
