Senior Technical Recruiter (London / WFH)
This role sits at the heart of our Recruitment function – blending deep sourcing capability with flawless coordination execution. It is a high‑accountability, fast‑paced environment where autonomy, organisation, and results matter.
This will be a 6‑month contract, with a view to conversion to permanent. The role is hybrid; you must reside near London as it requires in‑office meetings and in‑person interviews.
Sponsorship is not currently an option for this role.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full front‑end talent acquisition process – from identifying and engaging technical talent, to orchestrating interviews, managing candidate experience, and maintaining impeccable operational discipline.
- Work closely with Global Leadership, Technology Directors, and report into the TA Leadership team in Sydney.
- Build proactive pipelines, execute sourcing campaigns, and keep recruitment operations running like a machine.
- Manage 10+ pipelines and multiple interview schedules simultaneously without dropping detail.
- Act autonomously – self‑prioritise and deliver outcomes without constant direction.
- Influence and push back confidently, managing stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in full‑cycle Technical Recruitment within Recruitment Agency, Technology Consulting and/or Professional Services. Must have proven tenure within technical recruitment.
- Extensive experience in Software Engineering (Java, JVM, Kotlin, Full stack / Backend / Frontend Engineers), Data Engineering and Delivery and Product Delivery roles.
- Proven success in identifying, engaging, and converting passive candidates in competitive technical markets.
- Exceptional organisational and coordination skills.
- Deep understanding of technology roles: Data, Cloud, Software Engineering, Delivery, Product Management, DevOps, AI, etc.
- Strong stakeholder communication – able to influence, push back, and manage expectations confidently.
- Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems (Workable or similar) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, AI search tools).
- Driven by metrics and performance – measured by quality, speed, and candidate experience, not just activity volume.
