Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for a Technical Quality Coach - Commercial in Gillingham (Kent). The role is permanent, full-time, with a salary of £32,027 a year.

You will support the DVSA Vehicle Services Quality Centre of Excellence, delivering quality assurance across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme and mentoring colleagues to maintain consistent testing outcomes. You will analyse data, provide technical guidance, and work with ATFs and testing teams to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure DVSA standards are met.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyze quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs).
• Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
