Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Machine Technician. The role involves operating bespoke machines, performing quality control, and ensuring the upkeep of tools and the production workshop. Ideal candidates should possess mechanical/electrical skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. Training others in the role will also be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous.
• Pneumatic maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level.

Responsibilities

• Operate bespoke machines safely.
• Perform quality control inspections.
• Conduct technical cleaning of equipment.
• Repair and refurbish components.
• Maintain production workshop cleanliness.

Please note, training will take place on day shifts

We are looking for experienced Machine Technicians, our ideal candidate will have mechanical/ electrical skills.

In your new role as a Machine TechnicianTechnical Operator

• Operation of bespoke machines.
• Perform quality control
• Perform technical cleaning of equipment.
• Repair/refurb components that are used in the machines.
• Responsible for the upkeep of tools/toolboxes in ensuring having all the tools at hand all the time.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the Production workshop in both using and cleaning.
• Preventative/Reactive maintenance of automated Production lines.
• Maintain high standards of H&S practices
• Able to assist our external software support by having good communication skills to resolve issues/concerns with the Production machines.
• Actively looking to improve on Productivity and share this drive with other shifts.
• Be able to train others in due course.

Key Skills and Experience required

• Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous
