Job summary

Rose & Young Recruitment Limited is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Executive in Lutterworth to contact and manage a portfolio of customers, upsell products and coordinate with distributors, installation teams and estimators.

The role emphasises a proactive telephone-based approach, use of CRM, and strong product/technical knowledge to support bid and quote activities, with standard hours of 8:30–17:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Sales/Telesales/Business Development.
• Confident telephone manner, well-spoken and motivated.
• Previous experience in Internal Sales/Telesales/Customer Services.
• Customer-oriented approach.
• Preference for construction industry sales background.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Hours of work fall 8:30–17:00, Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Contacting new, existing and dormant customers to promote/upsell products via telephone and email.
• Fact-finding and researching leads for new customers from subscriptions.
• Managing a portfolio of customers and liaising with distributors, installation teams, designers, contractors and merchants.
• Account management for key customers and liaison with External Sales for quotations.
• Appointment making for Sales Director/External Sales and supporting estimating queries.
• Working with Sales Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse and Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Entering customer information and sales orders into a CRM system and using Word/Excel as needed.
• Standalone role with responsibility coordinating with External Sales and Estimators.
• Promoting and upselling products to existing customers via telephone and email.
