Overview

Technical Compliance Manager, QHSE Taskforce – Randstad CPE are currently looking for a Technical Compliance Manager to join a leading FM provider on a permanent basis in Newcastle.

The Technical Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing engineers and subcontractors, leading on all technical matters and remedial works, completing client reporting, and ensuring all compliance related records are kept complete.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure regular reports or dashboards are produced which fully demonstrate the position of compliance.
  • Ensure all staff, engineers and subcontractors working on the client estate are suitably trained, qualified, and competent to do so.
  • Raise remedial works as required and monitor to completion.
  • Ensure all service records are present and reviewed on the management system, and that all logbooks are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide technical advice regarding maintenance, repair and projects on all activities.
  • Support the avoidance and mitigation of commercial contract risks through non-performance.
  • Undertake audits and assurance checks in the agreed programme.
  • Champion best practice health and safety.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years working within building services / facilities management.
  • Candidates will ideally be either trade qualified and experienced or qualified within an Electrical discipline.
  • Previous appointments as an Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person for LV, HV or Mechanical High Risk.
  • Experience in a compliance or safety role is desirable.
