Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd is seeking a Technical Aftersales Advisor to provide expert technical support and customer-facing service for brick and tile products from the Sandtoft site near Doncaster. You will investigate complaints, decide on remote vs on-site resolutions, and work with Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand technical products and supply chain processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Customer service driven with a problem-solving approach.
• Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to liaise with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Serve as central point of control for manufacturing-related complaints.
• Carry out detailed technical investigations using product and customer information.
• Decide whether issues can be resolved remotely or require escalation or site visits.
• Coordinate site visits with Plant Managers and Technical teams as needed.
• Work with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and Quality teams to identify root causes.
• Provide clear communication on complaint outcomes and next steps.
• Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
