Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club is expanding its Technology team and seeks a Technical Support Engineer to ensure reliable IT services for football operations, with a focus on the Academy and Women’s team. You will support end-user technology, Microsoft 365, devices, identity management, and networking in a fast-paced environment.

You will work primarily at Bodymoor Heath, collaborating with players, coaches and staff, handling incidents and requests, and contributing to projects and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Service Desk, technical support or end-user technology environments.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365, endpoint technologies and networking concepts.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and prioritise competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for end-user technology and services.
• Support Windows and Apple environments.
• Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution.
• Support MS 365, devices, collaboration tools, IAM, networking and workplace technology.
• Based at Bodymoor Heath, act as a key contact for football staff during training and match days.
• Contribute to technology projects, knowledge sharing and documentation; support Men’s First Team when required.
