Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain and enhance the Club’s core technology infrastructure across Villa Park, Bodymoor Heath, London Office and other Club locations.

You will monitor and manage networking, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, servers, storage, backup solutions, virtualization and cloud-based identity services, including Active Directory and Entra ID, to ensure secure and reliable operations for daily activities and matchdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support or infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, Microsoft technologies and core infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and identity platforms such as Active Directory and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain networking, servers, storage and cloud-based services to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to security hardening and vulnerability remediation; document processes and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external partners on infrastructure upgrades and refresh projects.
