Skipton Building Society is seeking an experienced Technology and Cyber Security Risk Audit Lead to drive audits across technology and cyber risk within our agile environment. You will plan fieldwork, deliver insightful reports, and strengthen governance procedures across the Group.

You will collaborate with senior leaders in Internal Audit and the wider Group, building trusted relationships and advising on risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Internal Audit including information security, cyber risk, and cloud services.
• Solid understanding of IT risk, controls and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Proactive, collaborative, able to lead small teams and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver audits across technology, cyber risk, cloud security, software development, disaster recovery, resilience and IT governance.
• Plan and execute audit fieldwork, producing high quality reports with clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Skipton Group, providing independent assurance and expert guidance.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities through continuous monitoring, sharing valuable insights to support informed decision making.
• Contribute to the deve lopment of the Internal Audit Plan and communicate audit outcomes to drive positive business action.
• Support and lead colleagues while contributing to transformation programmes, AI and Data Governance reviews, and other strategic change initiatives.
