Job summary

London Stock Exchange is seeking a senior audit professional to lead technology, application and data-focused audits within the Data & Analytics area. The role requires acting as the application audit domain expert and guiding audits from planning through reporting.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, resolving blockers with the Audit Director, and delivering timely, high-quality findings aligned with Internal Audit standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised Internal Auditing (IIA/CIIA) or Accounting Qualification.
• CISA, CISSP or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
• Part qualification may be acceptable depending on experience.
• Experience in assurance delivery and supervision is required.
• Strong knowledge of controls across technology, data and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audits focused on technology, applications, data and operations controls.
• Act as application audit expert across the audit lifecycle including design and testing.
• Plan and scope audits by identifying application risks and control weaknesses.
• Monitor progress and be the main contact for assigned engagements.
• Resolve issues with the Audit Director or Head of Audit as needed.
• Lead audit meetings and coach team members throughout the lifecycle.
• Support execution activities including walkthroughs, testing and documentation.
• Deliver high-quality audits on time and within budget, per Internal Audit standards.
• Complete supervisory reviews of audit files to ensure quality.
• Develop impactful findings and reports with practical recommendations.
• Maintain proactive approach to risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Build strong partner relationships and ensure no surprises in the process.
• Collaborate with Cyber and Infrastructure audit teams for end-to-end coverage.
