Job summary

Aberdeen is seeking an IT Senior Audit Manager to lead complex technology audits and risk assessments, and to shape the technology assurance strategy across the organisation. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact assurance and drive sustainable risk reduction.

You will coach audit professionals, manage integrated engagements and act as deputy to the Head of Audit IT when required, gaining significant exposure to senior executives and strategic programmes.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM or CRISC.
• Significant internal audit, risk or assurance experience within financial services.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology audits and assurance workstreams across the group.
• Oversee technology risk assessment, audit planning and issue validation.

Job description

• As IT Senior Audit Manager, you will be a senior leader within Internal Audit, reporting into the technology audit leadership team and acting as a key partner to senior stakeholders across the business. You will lead complex technology audits, oversee technology risk assessments and audit planning, manage integrated audit engagements and help shape the future direction of technology assurance across Aberdeen. • Lead the annual technology audit planning process, technology risk assessment activity and development of risk-based audit coverage across the Group
• Deliver complex technology audits and technology assurance workstreams within integrated audits, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders, providing insight on emerging risks and assurance priorities
• Oversee issue validation, portfolio quality and reporting, identifying themes and opportunities for sustainable risk reduction
• Lead, coach and develop audit professionals, allocating resources effectively and supporting capability growth across the team
• Act as deputy to the Head of Audit IT when required and represent Internal Audit at senior governance and leadership forums
