An inclusive primary school in Greater London is seeking experienced Team Teach Support Staff to work within a specialist SEMH provision. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, utilizing Team Teach principles to manage challenging behaviour. Candidates should have relevant experience and a valid Team Teach qualification. We are currently recruiting experienced Support Staff with a valid Team Teach qualification to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wood Green to work in their SEMH provision.
In this role you will work within a specialist area that the school have created to support pupils across the school who have SEMH and behavioural or emotional regulation difficulties.
Within the provision, pupils may become dysregulated, and you may be required to use Team Teach-approved physical intervention techniques when absolutely necessary to ensure safety. The school places strong emphasis on preventative strategies, clear communication, and restorative practice, ensuring all interventions are carried out with care, respect, and professionalism.
