What You Will Do:

Lead and Supervise: Provide effective management, guidance, and supervision to social workers and support staff within the Children in Care Team.

Promote Quality Practice: Drive the delivery of high-quality care planning and interventions focused on permanency, stability, and positive outcomes.

Ensure Compliance: Oversee statutory responsibilities including reviews, health assessments, and education plans for children in care.

Champion Reflective Practice: Foster a culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement across the team.

Quality Assurance: Review and quality-check assessments, care plans, and reports to ensure best practice standards.

Advocate for Children: Ensure children’s voices are central to decision-making and care planning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential: Degree or Diploma in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
