Job summary

Based: Split hours between Amberley Nursing Home Calow Chesterfield and Fisher CloseGrangewood Chesterfield

Hours: 24 hours per week

Salary: 19096.07 per annum

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our teams in Calow Chesterfield.

As a Team Leader you will be working in collaboration with the Registered Managers, Staff Nurses and Home Support Workers within the nursing care setting. You will be responsible for professionally leading the care and support team during any span of duty ensuring the provision of a safe, effective and efficient care and support service to older people and people with learning difficulties / disabilities is maintained which respects their rights and choices and meets their individual needs inline with CQC Regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

Do you have
  • Have or be willing to work towards a Level 3 in care.
  • Experience of working individuals with a learning difficulty disability and/or a mental health impairment and/or with older people.
  • Experience of supervising / leading individuals in the delivery of effective care and support services including medication administration
  • Good understanding of person-centred care planning processes and have experience of writing care and support plans as you will be supporting the staff nurses in these tasks.
  • Good Knowledge of Care Quality Commission requirements and regulations.
  • IT Literate
