Overview

Team Leader – Learning Disabilities Service (Supported Living). Location: Warwick Manor or Shakespeare House, Bedford. Salary: £13.15 per hour (£25,650 per annum) plus a range of health and wellbeing benefits. Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent. 37.5 hours per week. CQC rating: Outstanding.

We are looking for a passionate Team Leader to join our supported living services in Bedford, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to provide person-centred, high-quality care and positive behaviour support.
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently across the service.
  • Be a role model for best practice in support, safeguarding, and positive behaviour support.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans that promote independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Take part in on-call responsibilities and support with rota management and staff supervision.
About You / Qualifications
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
  • Enjoy developing yourself and your team.
