Contract: Permanent or Maternity Cover

Salary (FTE): ALT Grade C – £24,796.00 to £25,185.00

Actual Salary: ALT Grade C – £18,650.78 to £18,943.38

About the Role

Two exciting opportunities within Cromwell Community College's Secondary phase team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with pupils alongside classroom teachers to support learners with special educational needs to access the curriculum. This includes assuming the role of keyworker for students with EHCPs, supporting students individually and in group settings, and promoting the inclusion of all.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30 (32.5 hours per week), 39 weeks per year.

One of the advertised positions is a permanent contract, and the other is for maternity cover.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, as well as independently, using initiative.
  • Have experience working with young people with additional needs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
