Overview

Role: Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract: January 2026 – July 2026

Responsibilities
  • Support small groups of children in the EYFS setting
  • Assist with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum and extend children’s learning through high-quality provision
  • Contribute to a warm, nurturing environment in the nursery
  • Assist with daily nursery routines as required
Requirements
  • Hold a DfE-recognised qualification in early years
  • Experience working with children in a school or specialist setting
  • Nurturing, patient and consistent approach
  • Referenceable experience working in a school setting
  • Be passionate about education with a desire to help young people thrive
  • Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle
