About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you won’t just support learning—you’ll inspire it. You’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to create a vibrant, positive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and ready to reach their full potential. Your role will touch every part of school life, helping pupils grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils and respond to their individual needs
  • Support social, emotional, and academic development through patient and encouraging guidance
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups to boost engagement, confidence, and achievement
  • Prepare and organise classrooms to be welcoming, calm, and inspiring learning spaces
  • Assist teachers with planning, behaviour strategies, resources, and everyday classroom management
  • Contribute to wider school life, including safeguarding, admin, and communication with parents

You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.
