The Role

We are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team at The Manor Academy. The ideal candidate will be a hard‑working and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting young people. The successful candidate will work in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures.

The Person

Excellent communication skills and empathy, listening and interpersonal skills when dealing with children, colleagues and parents/carers. Experience of working with pupils with specific learning difficulties or behavioural needs would be advantageous. Patience will be key to this role as you will be supporting students with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. You will play an integral part in ensuring students with any degree of meet targets and progress in line with students not on the SEND register.
