Teaching Assistant - KS2 Classroom

Location: Accrington
Contract: Full-time – Term time only
Start Date: January 2026

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in a Key Stage 2 classroom.

What you'll do
  • Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning.
  • Provide one‑to‑one and small group interventions.
  • Help create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and preparation of resources.

  • Experience working with children (preferably in KS2).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent desirable).
